The kids and I took a half day trip to the seaside town of Lyttleton on Wednesday. I put a picture of the map below for context. It looks far from Christchurch, but is only a 25 minute drive. We started at Corsair Bay and followed the coastal path to Cass Bay. Both bays at playgrounds and Corsair Bay had a great area for swimming. We didn't bring suits, so kids got in at the end of our hike in their clothes. Nevermind that the water was FREEZING!
