The Cherry Blossoms are OUT all over the city! One of the best places to see them is Hagley Park, which is just 2 miles from our house. The is a North and South portion of the park - it is huge! There is a golf course, botanic garden, miles of biking/running/walking trails and a river that cuts through the park. It's truly a special place!

The Christchurch Saturday Farmers' MarketThis market happens every Saturday from 9am - 1pm. It's located in Riccarton Bush - 1 mile from our house. Kids and I biked over and Jay walked - we had lunch along the river and kids found some locals to play with!

ReplyDeleteYou guys are so cute - what a fun anniversary! Those cherry blossoms are GORG. Let's ALL move to NZ, I mean, David Farrier makes it sound pretty idyllic also, and by the looks of all your photos, I tend to agree. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe cherry blossoms in this large park are beautiful. No need to visit DC to enjoy these trees. Happy you were able to celebrate your anniversary in this beautiful country.
